Millumin是一款操作简单的视频剪辑与渲染工具，你不需要像使用Final Cut那样学习太多的专业教程，就能在最短时间内掌握制作技巧；Millumin主界面分四大区域，分别是Library（素材库），Workspace（编辑区），Properties Panel（渲染区），Dashboard（层管理）。

你可以在Dashboard内添加多个layer，每个layer内可以放入任意素材，或者也可以插入Composition，这个Composition其实和Dashboard有些类似，不过他们是包含与被包含的关系，而且Composition内可以编辑以秒为单位的动画。

Workspace内可以对素材进行蒙版设计，变形，旋转等操作。Properties Panel里分Layer，Effects，Audio三项功能，可以对layer的透明度，位置，scale，旋转度进行设定；增加滤镜渲染，设置音量及输出模式，Dashboard管理区，点击右下角的加号可以添加layer，点击“+composition”添加Composition即可。
